I had hear about how wonderful Jo Malone fragrances were for ages, but had never purchased one-- or even taken a whiff! But when I read about this fragrance, I knew it would be my perfect fall scent. With notes of ambrette seeds, sea salt and sage, this is the fragrance that will take you from summer into fall and beyond.

And it truly is a rugged, earthy perfume. The scent is fresh thanks to the sage, with earthy notes from the ambrette seeds, while a hint of salty air brings it all together. But be warned: if you like fruity or floral scents, you won't find them here. After being a strictly body spray girl for the entirety of summer, it was a nice change to go back to the heavier notes of a perfume.

There is one less-than-stellar thing about this otherwise amazing scent: it only lasts for a couple of hours before it needs to be reapplied.
