Influenster #REFRESHBOX
11:13 AMThis month, I was chosen to receive the Influenster Refresh Box. The box is full of all kinds of complimentary goodies to test and review and they really served with this one. Look at all of this stuff! It will certainly help get my year started off right-- yes, even though February is almost over, until spring is here my year hasn't truly begun.
Here are the treats I received in the Refresh Box:
Beanitos in Restaurant Style and Nacho Cheese. I haven't dug into these yet-- I'm not a big chip person-- but I'm excited to snack on them soon with some friends and see what we all think. When I'm at uni, a bag of chips is usually the best option for lunch as we don't have many choices, so maybe these will be a healthier alternative to what I usually grab.
Skinny Girl Tasty Nutrition Bar in Dark Chocolate Pretzel. Whew, that was a mouthful. Again, this might be a nice alternative to what I usually pick up for lunch on the go. I'm not a huge fan of chocolate-- except the Chuao Chocolatier Firecracker Pods-- but the mix of chocolate and pretzel, salty and sweet, is a big plus.
Dentek Comfort Clean Floss Pick and Fun Flossers. After you're done with the Beanitos and the nutrition bar, it's time to make sure your mouth is clean and fresh. These Dentek flossers are the perfect thing to have in your handbag for that. And you can pair them with...
Listerine PocketPaks. Remember these things from a decade ago? They are still really awesome and keep your breath fresh for ages.
Montagne Jeunesse Manuka Honey Peel. If you're putting better things inside your body and taking care of your dental hygiene, you probably want to take care of your skin too. I've been really revamping my skincare routine lately so I'm excited about trying this out. The honey should be hydrating and softening, which is what I need.
L'Occitane Shea Butter Light Comforting Cream. This is definitely similar to the Ponds and Benefit creams I reviewed a couple of weeks ago, so keep your eye out for an in-depth review of this product.
Covergirl UltraSmooth Foundation. This is probably the only product I was really unhappy with. The rubber applicator it came with applied the foundation to heavily, but a brush gave me no coverage at all. It never felt like it dried and it irritated my skin. It's good in theory but just wasn't for me.
I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.
